Technical Datasheet · GI-179A

GI-179 high-elongation activator for GI-Series silicones

Tin cure (condensation)

General Information

This activator, when used in place of standard activator, can increase the tensile strength and elongation while decreasing the Shore A hardness. These properties are observed in GI-Series bases with a Shore A of less than 30. It is recommended for use where maximum stretch is required, such as glove molds, vacuum molds, block molds, animatronics and medical simulators.
