Platinum accelerator for P-Series silicones

General Information

PT-Accel can be added to any P-Series silicone to dramatically speed its work and cure time at room temperature. This is useful where heat cannot be used to increase rates, such as with heat sensitive masters or very large molds. It must be mixed into the base before the activator is added. Each P-Series silicone reacts differently, so test a small batch to determine the appropriate level before mixing large amounts.

Effect on P-90 Translucent

At 0.2 % of base: 15 minute work time, 120 minute demold, 4 hour cure. At 0.3 %: 10 minutes, 90 minutes, 3 hours. At 0.4 %: 7 minutes, 60 minutes, 2 hours. Untreated: 60 minute work time, 18 hour cure.
